FMI.GRAD.ZINE project was first initiated in 2019, and accompanied the master program graduation show. In its original form the ZINE was a Xerox D.I.Y printed booklet featuring images and quotes from graduates’ works and thesis, in associative and playful manner.
It was part of a pop-up ‘Gift-Shop’, positioned at the ‘Zuiker-Fabrik’ (exhibition location), and was, among other booklets and prints made by the graduates, offered for sale.
In addition to the zine there were two panels, held on location called ‘BUT IS IT ART?’ addressing the topics of ART AS RESEARCH and ART AS CHANGE AGENT that arose from the interviews with the graduates.
